Any time I work in the morning, I have to come here for my day to start on the right track. Kathy and crew make the best pastries, sandwiches, smoothies and coffee. I'm a fan of the hot pepper coffee especially, but there's a lot more that I've gotten there as well. As far as the service goes, I've never seen any of them in a bad mood. They are the friendliest people over there and seeing them in the morning brightens the day before my shift. The pastry in the picture is a raspberry Bavarian cream brownie - not there on a daily basis but when it is, grab one. They are absolutely decadent.

First visit during the pandemic so takeout only for now, but our lunches became an instant favorite! I had the veggie croissant sandwich while my boyfriend had the turkey croissant, and we immediately vowed to make Caffe Casa a weekly event. We also each got the first slices from a beautiful cake- the frosting tasted a bit too buttery but otherwise delicious. Can't wait to return for another meal, and also to be on the other side of quarantine so that we can enjoy the comfort of eating inside this cute space for an afternoon.

My favorite spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. Great coffee, phenomenal baked goods, and the real kicker… my dog’s favorite spot to get a treat and relax. Kathy and all of the staff are wonderful, and the regulars who attend are kind. Highly recommend.

We stopped for a late lunch, because nothing around was open. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. I had a turkey croissant, which was very good, but the lentil soup was phenomenal.

I had a meeting with a colleague at Caffe Casa, on the Kalamazoo Mall, and loved the vibe. Owner Kathy Beebe's Pumpkin Spice cake was dangerously delicious. If you're lucky, she's baking more this morning because I bought the last two slices to bring home to have with this morning's coffee.

I’m visiting from Australia, and I’m so glad to finally have found amazing coffee right here in Kzoo. The owner and staff are so friendly and make u feel at home. All the baked goods are delicious. Can I give this place 6/5 ?

I visit Kalamazoo every year for a conference, and mornings at Caffe Casa are a highlight of the trip. The turnovers and smoothies are good (love the spinach smoothie), the espresso is too, and the people are nice. Love the plants esp the huge staghorn fern!

Great locally owned coffee shop in downtown Kalamazoo that has been here for decades. Has an indoor garden and tasty fresh baked pastries, bagels and cake. Vinny always makes sure everyone is welcome and taken care of.

I had a great time visiting! The workers were very kind and didn't mind holding conversation or telling more about the cafe. My items came out quick and were delicious. And it was very exciting to see the variety of flavors that could be added to drinks! I'll be back for sure.

Beautiful cafe. Terrific coffee. Super vibe. We stopped in town for a short time. Cafe was recommended by a woman working at the souvenir shop down the street. Really wonderful local biz. Highly recommend this cafe!
